a nice t shirt for you

Fierce competition, close finishes, beautiful people & funny names, the London 2012 Olympic Games has it all. Productivity levels are at an all time low here in Fruit Towers and now with the athletics kicking off today, there'll be no work done. To celebrate, we're giving away some of our favourite jogging t-shirts.

I'm not a jogger t shirt

To win one (and some nice smoothies & juices), just comment on this post telling us your favourite Olympian of all time. We'll pull the winners out of a hat.

This competition is now closed.

Congratulations to our winners Gary Collins, Jeff Brennan and Sminto Antony. Your t shirts are on the way, wear them with pride.

Eric 'the Eel' Moussambani - Sydney 2000 :)

Daly Thompson

Nadia Comaneci, just because she was perfect!

My favorite Olympian of all time is Nadia Comăneci (even though I wasn't even born when she got her perfect ten) because she was so great that people still talk about her today and because none of the gymnasts now are half as good as she was when she was only 14!

Katie Taylor!

Sonia O'Sullivan

I'm going to go with a winter Olympian Evgeni Plushenko (Russia)
I idolised him as a teenager and dreamed of one day being able to skate like him, if only there was an ice rink nearby... instead I had to make do with inline skates on country roads!

Derek Redmond in Barcelona 1992 - having suffered from injuries before the games sprinted in fine form in the semi final of the 400m until he tore his hamstring and fell to the ground. In agony he pulled himself to his feet and began limping to the finish line - helped by his dad. Beautiful Olympic moment :)

László Cseh, Hungarian swimmer. Dominates at European level, 3 time Olympian and puts it up to Phelps more than any European swimmer has ever done! He's so dedicated that he shaves his head haha

Bradley Wiggins!

My favourite Olympian of all time Bradley Wiggans as he is both inspirational and down-to-earth, I look up to him!

Michael Phelps, the complete athlete- breaking world records with his speed, strength and relentless determination!! And lets face it girls, he ain't bad to look at either!! ;)

Bradley Wiggins, great cyclist- gold medalist and of course that hair :) Go Team GB!

Eamon Coughlan because he was a world record holder (and because he's from Ireland!)

Jessica Ennis

Michael Phelps! He's great!

torvill and dean

Nadia Comăneci

Michael Phelps! He's some boyo so he is!

Michael Phelps! That man can swim

It has to be Carl Lewis because he won medals in more than one event, and over many years. For me he epitomises the spirit of theOlympics.

Tom Daly - After all the twitter stuff and losing his dad, he's still trying his best for team GB, fair play!

Sonia O' Sullivan

Eric The Eel, swimmer from Equatorial Guinea in 2000, I remember jumping up and down, cheering him on to finish the 100m freestyle, fair play to him for taking part, that's what I think the Olympics is about anyway!

Kieran Behan. Having been told he'd never walk again and with other setbacks, he became an Olympian and competed at London 2012 in gymnastics for Ireland.

Mary King, the 51 year old British Equestrian took silver in group events earlier this week after battling back from a broken neck in 2001 , not to mention her bronze and silver medals from Athens and Beijing, as well as nursing her horse that almost died this time last year to take the madel this week, she quotes 'next time it’s going to be gold!' (Rio), she'll be 54 years young :D

Katie Taylor for sure! The current Irish, European, and world women's boxing champion in her division!

tom daley :)

Haile Gebreselassie....What a life story and Highly Inspirational

Katie Taylor!

Kelly Holmes hands down, for her inspirational gold medals in the 2004 Athens Olympic games after struggling with injury for most of her career preventing her from reaching her best, at the age of 34 she made history, its hard not to watch the determination on her face as she ran both the 1500 and the 800m and not feel inspired, still makes me bubble up as you see her win the 800 and she doesn't even believe it as she looks around to check the scoreboard. Moments like that to me are what makes the Olympics great, that one person can do something so amazing that she cant even believe it herself, which goes on to inspire others to believe that they too can achieve greatness. Rant Over ^^.

Ronnie Delaney. In an era when the world was in black and white, he brought Australian sunshine to Ireland.

Paula Radcliffe. Amazing athlete who has been so so unlucky at past Olympics

Haile Gebreselassie!!

Sonia O'Sullivan

Daly Thompson and Duncan Goodhew

Kieran Behan. Inspirational Story!

Martin Sheridan, Mayo born (1881) athlete who emigrated to America (1899) whom he represented and won 9 Olympic medals -5 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze as well as setting 16 world records. We really do export our best talent...

Katie Taylor World champion

Michael Phelps what a man

Chris Hoy

The Abbagnale Brothers. Awesome!

Michelle Smith De Bruin

Jessica Ennis (but I wish she played tennis) Best of luck to her today in the heptathlon!

Michael Phelps

Kieran Behan, incredible story and determination.

Steve Redgrave - what a champ!!

Michael Phelps - a true champ and a gent, gracious in defeat!

I like lots of Olympians: Ronnie Delany, John Treacy, Dick & Pat Hooper, Sonia O'Sullivan, Florence Griffith-Joyner and Olga Korbut, among others!

Of all time? Then it has to be Mary Lou Retton....small, smiley and mentioned in the Simpsons, Glee and Baywatch!

Torvill and Dean, I wasn't allowed to stay up and watch them so I stuck up and listened at the lounge door, I cried when I heard all those 6s.

Mark Splitz - best of his time! :)

Michael Phelps

I admire Sonia O'Sullivan. Such a great athlete and woman

Michael Phelps for the win. My cousin got a signed photo from him after he sent him a letter inviting him over for Thanks Giving :P

Sonia O'Sullivan. Inspiring. :)

Felix Carvajal, the famous Felix the Fourth. Check him out!

Jim Thorpe

Michael Phelps, OMG what a swimmer, I have never sceen someone so strong and determined....

Michael Phelps :)

Peggy Fleming, her famous 1964 gold medal in figure skating made her one of the most prominent women in sport. Beautiful and graceful. :)

Usain Bolt - fastest man in the world. He even broke the world record with his laces open - he must drink a lot of innocent smoothies! :)

Michael Phelps

Yordan Yovchev, London 2012 are his 6th Olympics Games! Respect

Sonia O' Sullivan!

At the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, Swimmer Eric Moussambani made quite a splash. Eric was from Equatorial Guinea, not a place known for swimming. Eric soon became well known by his nickname "the Eel".
In his heat of the 100m freestyle event, there were only two other competitors, but they were disqualified for jumping the starter's gun. This left Eric to race in the pool all by himself. Eric took 112.72 seconds, the slowest time recorded, about a minute more than the next slowest competitor. He had learnt to swim just eight months earlier in a lake and at times could barely keep his head above water and at one point people thought he had to be rescued!
The worldwide audience embraced this poor swimmer, not because he was any good, but because he embodied the spirit of the Games, which is about taking part and doing your best. The best bit of the story he is back in 2012 as the swimming coach!

Sonia O'Sullivan! :D

Victoria Pendleton because any woman that can straddle a bike like that

Michael Carruth

Hammer thrower Dr. Pat O'Callaghan - the only Irish person to win medals in two separate games (both gold)

Sergey Bubka - the Ukrainian pole vaulter who won the gold in the event on his final attempt having failed to register a score on his first two attempts. a great character who really got the crowd going and behind him not to mention myself and my sister as we watched on the couch snuggled up in our duvet!

Jennifer Pinches!

Jennifer Pinches!

Sir Chris Hoy

Katie Taylor.

Any winners picked on this lads? I'm mad to get one of those t shirts, they are gas!

I enjoy, cause I discovered just what I used to be looking for.
You've ended my 4 day long hunt! God Bless you man. Have a great day. Bye
