Lemons are endlessly fascinating. For instance, did you know that lemons are called li mung in China, after local people transliterated (is that the right word?) the fruit's name? And were you aware that Alexander the Great's army brought the lemon to Europe, or that the lemon is thought to have originated in either India or Malaysia?
